Bind-N-Fly Is As Easy As 1-2-3-4

You’re excited about owning E-flite’s Blade mCX micro heli, but the last thing you need is another transmitter you’ll never use. Don’t worry about it. Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft not only save you from adding another transmitter to your collection, they also save you money. Money you can use to buy the next Bind-N-Fly aircraft.

Bind-N-Fly lets you use your current DSM2 aircraft transmitter by simply binding it to the model in four simple steps, making this one of the shortest “How To” articles you’ll ever read.

1. Turn on your DSM2 transmitter, and select a new model memory. Or make sure all settings are in the default position and batteries are charged. Turn the transmitter off.
2. Power up your mCX (or other BNF model) by connecting the battery to the receiver.
3. When you see the receiver LED start flashing, turn on your DSM2 transmitter in Bind mode.
4. Fifteen seconds after the LED stops flashing, the bind is complete. At this point, the receiver LED is on solid, and you’re ready to fly.

When you connect the mCX receiver battery, let the model sit still while the gyro is calibrating. When the servos become active, the model is ready to fly. Have fun, call your friends over…but tell them to bring their own Bind-N-Fly.
